Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mother! She’s eight months pregnant with me in the above picture. My parents were DRIVING the Alcan (Alaska – Canada) Highway on their way to Anchorage, Alaska. A stop on July 4, 1972 at the Matanushka Glacier in Alaska prompted the photo op.
My mother has always been an amazing example of commitment to her faith, her husband and to her family.
